Provides: Physiotherapy / Clinical Pilates / Reformer Classes

Freya graduated from La Trobe University in Melbourne in 2016 with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Masters of Physiotherapy. Freya is also qualified as an APA and DMA Clinical Pilates Instructor.

Freya has been working in a musculoskeletal setting in Melbourne for 5 years and it is here that she discovered her passion for movement-based rehabilitation and clinical pilates. She has also taught fitness pilates casually which has enabled her to expand her repertoire and get creative with exercises that encourage stability, mobility and strength.

Freya loves the concept of pilates being adaptable to anyone and is a firm believer that anyone and everyone should do pilates! She loves inspiring people to get their body moving and wants to assist and work closely with clients to ensure they reach their highest functional capacity.

Freya is an avid runner herself and uses her own injury history, passion and experience to create return to running programs for clients and ensure clients are physically strong enough to withstand the load that goes with enjoying running!

Freya uses biomechanical assessments to facilitate treatment including; exercise based rehabilitation, education, manual therapy and dry needling. She has a keen interest in neck pain and postural strain, lower back pain, running injuries and pre and post-natal pilates.

Freya was after a bit of a lifestyle change so has recently made the move up to lovely Coogee. In her spare time you will always see her out running or walking or enjoying champagne with friends and family - especially now that she has escaped dreary Melbourne she is keen for some sun in Sydney!!
